Happy Birthday Caylin!

Well miss Caylin finally had her own birthday party. We’ve been going to birthday parties every weekend and she has been anxiously awaiting her own party! When she woke up the day of her party she sat outside with all her “babies” and told all the neighbors walking by that it was her birthday and that she is now 3, holding out her 3 fingers (it’s a lot harder to hold up 3 fingers instead of 2). We got together with our friends at the park and made visors, played parachute games, and best of all…ate cupcakes!! This year I made “real” cupcakes. The past 2 years her birthday cake was made from a bran muffin recipe. She wanted everything purple! She LOVES purple right now. We had a great day!

Birthday runway!

The project runway party was a success; the girls had a ton of fun dressing each other up…even the little girls got in on the fun. I was impressed with how creative all the girls were with their designs. The girls were a little embarrassed at first to wear their lovely designs out to dinner, but once they got used to it they had a blast.

I spent some time going through old photos the other day and put a little slide show. I had so much fun looking at these photos of Aiana. She can always bring a smile to my face. I love you Aiana! Happy Birthday!

Ouch!

Today is Aiana's big day! We are getting ready to have a “project runway” birthday party, I’m sure it will be interesting! One of the things she wanted for her birthday was to get a second ear piercing, so she and I had a “girl’s day out” with Mimi and one of her friends.

Yogini Anika

I think Anika is getting ready to crawl! She is constantly practicing her plank position and other yoga poses to strengthen her core. As you can see on her face, she is getting a good workout!

Memory Monday

The kids are napping and I've been going through old photos remembering some fun times through out my life, and after looking at some of my friends blogs I wanted to post a couple photos of Will and I when we were younger. You will see that Caylin definitely takes after Will. Aiana and Ankia, well at least you can tell they are related to me. I love the smiles on our faces. Will has kind of a happy go lucky smile and mine looks a little mischievous.
I dont know about Will, but I'm sure I was up to something.
