Scare for the day...

While Anika was napping today, Caylin was watching a little Sesame Street. I left the room for a moment to run upstairs and on my way upstairs I could hear that Murray and His Little Lamb were on their way to visit gardening school. Anyway, when I came back downstairs, I couldn't find Caylin anywhere! I checked the whole house and the front yard. When I went out to check the backyard, I saw Caylin way down in the garden (which is about 3 flights of stairs down toward the canyon) with a rake! She was working away (in the garden of dry dirt at the moment) and told me she had to go out and check the beets!

She is so funny!

She told me some really funny things the other day, I keep forgetting to tell you. So, I will tell everyone who reads your blog...

I asked what she thought you (Amber) wanted to ask Santa for for Christmas, and she told me, "a poodle."
BTW- she said she is going to ask for a purple camera with Ariel on it (good like finding that one!)

Her and Kaylee were then talking and Caylin starts kind of fake laughing and slapping her knee, so I turn around and say what's so funny, she says, "I just think Kaylee's voice is so funny." Ha, ha, I swear you were right, she is an old soul. A funny old soul.

Oh my goodness! Do you have beets? Or, where did she come up with beets? I agree, how scary, but at the same time---how cute. Perhaps you should get Caylin and Rylan (Kelsey's runner) together---oh what great fun they would have.

On a side note (and sort of responding to Colleen's comment)---have you thought about a separate blog just for the things Caylin says? She is such a character.
