Caylin had her first dental visit today with Dr. Job. We have been preparing for this visit for a long time by "playing dentist" so Caylin was very excited today for her real dental visit. She picked out a pretty dress and matching flower. She got dressed right when she woke up. She also put on her robe but told me that she had to take it off before going to the dentist because "dentist don't like wobes".
When we got to the office Caylin was thrilled to be offered a snack and water...and a new toothbrush to brush her teeth. We were both excited to see our friend

Karie helped Caylin pick out a fun movie to watch during her visit and got her comfy in the chair complete with a pink pillow to prop her legs. The whole exam went super! Caylin was so patient and Dr. Job was awesome! Best of all, no cavities! Caylin walked out of the office with a huge smile and a bag FULL of goodies!

After the dentist we headed to the Doctor for Anika who has a cold she just cant seem to shake. Thank goodness for the treat bag from Dr. Job which kept the girls busy in the Dr's office! As it turns out, that nasty cold resulted in a sinus infection...which means...antibiotics. I'm not looking forward to the battle ahead of trying to get Anika to take meds...But yay for wellness!

Glad to hear the dentist visit went well. Is that the dress we gave her for her birthday? Looks cute on her! Poor Anika is in the same boat as Sean. He's on antibiotics for his two ear infections, but he's starting to like the taste of the medicine now ;) Hope you're all feeling better soon!
Hopefully your medicine will be flavored for you! We have had some antibiotics recently, and they smelled very yummy, and Ry called it his "vitamins"...even asked for it! :) Good luck! Hope it clears up soon! And CONGRATS on the perfect dental check!
This gives me hope that Anna will someday sit in that chair. We were there last week and she absolutely refused to sit in it. Dr. Job is so great- wasn't even phased by her screaming. And of course, since Karie is there, that makes everything better! :-)

Caylin did AWESOME today :) Such a big girl! I'm so glad she liked the goodie bag too!! It's always so much fun to see my friends at work!!
